FAQ

FAQ

*Q: What time of the year are events able to be held?
*A: Summers in Florida are hot and very humid throughout the state. For the comfort of our brides and grooms, along with their guest we only offer events during the cooler months. Our venue is open for events from the 2nd week of October through the end of April

*Q: Can we use our own vendors?
*A: Yes, but we highly suggest you review our list of preferred vendors; these vendors have done a wonderful job with many events held at our ranch. They are very familiar with our venue and only able to make our list if they provide top services.  The only required vendor is our bartender, you will still be in charge of providing your own alcohol, beer, wine, etc. for your event.

*Q: What is Web-Safe event insurance and what does it mean?
*A: Web-Safe is an insurance company that specialized in day of Liability Insurance. This insurance protects you and your guests for the day of your wedding. Liability insurance is required in order to have a function at Windsong Ranch. It is not expensive and is worth every penny. There is an additional policy through WedSafe (cancellation policy) that if anything happened and you couldn’t have your event at Windsong Ranch, (let’s say a tornado came through, for example) they will refund the expenses you have incurred to your vendors depending on what level of cancellation insurance you’ve purchased. We strongly suggest that you purchase cancellation insurance along with the required Liability Insurance through Web-Safe. They reduce the cost by 15% if you purchase them together. See the link on our webpage called GET YOUR WEDDING INSURANCE HERE for more information.

*Q: What kind of alcohol can I have at my event?
*A: With our licensed and insured bartender to serve your alcohol, beer wine, etc. you may determine what best fits your budget and taste with our bartender. We strongly suggest against having multiple open bottles of hard liquor, you have no idea how crazy guest get with free alcohol! Free alcohol = lots of trouble, we suggest one or two signature drinks, any beer and wine you like plus this will help your bar budget by keeping it simple.
